Contribute to research project "Border Crossings: charity and voluntarism in Britain's mixed economy of health care since 1948".
Collect and analyse data through archival research and qualitative interviews, in collaboration with researchers from the Universities of Birmingham, Edinburgh, Strathclyde and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
Support public engagement initiatives, contribute to publications and conference presentations.

The Europaeum
Selected as one of 30 outstanding PhD students from across Europe for this competitive training programme. The scholarship was worth €20,000 per student.
Comprised of institutional visits, plenary lectures, training workshops, debates and group projects.
Won the inaugural Europaeum Prize (sponsored by the Financial Times) of €10,000 - to be used to further group project.
